femme☆phenomenon: One Of Those HetaGirls was the first edition of the HetaGirls International Women's Day zine. With a theme of flora and fauna, the first run gave a dedicated space for our favorite leading ladies to get the love and attention they deserve.In this zine, 44 illustrators and writers made work celebrating their favorite characters.

So long as the character has been designed by Himaruya, they are allowed! Solo Nyotalia submissions are not permitted. Nyotalia characters may appear as background characters or in supporting roles to a contributor’s assigned HetaGirl.Are OCs allowed?
Yes! We would hate to turn away submissions for nations who have not yet been represented in the canon material. OCs are allowed so long as they play a supporting role to a canon girl!Is this a historical or AU zine?
Either kind of submission is fine! Nationverse, historical entries, humanverse, or any AUs are allowed so long as they center the HetaGirls! However, we ask that submissions deter from excessive graphic content and sensitive subjects. femme☆phenomenon was created with the intent to give the HetaGirls a place to be silly and lighthearted on their own. Some pitches may be a case-by-case basis and can be discussed with the mod team!Do submissions have to stay on theme?
Yes. We want every submission to pertain to textiles in some way.What if I have to drop out of the project?
We understand that life happens! So long as a contributor isn’t dropping out without sufficient time to find a pinch-hitter, a contributor may drop out at any time.Will extensions be granted?
